Scope
This document specifies the hardware configuration, functions and performance, interfaces, tests, etc. of flexible DC transmission valve-level control equipment. This document is applicable to modular multi-level topology converter valve stage control equipment used in (extra) high-voltage flexible DC transmission systems and flexible DC back-to-back systems. The converter valve stage control equipment for flexible DC power distribution and static synchronous compensation device (STATCOM) can be implemented as a reference.
