Scope

This specification for preparation and curing of concrete test specimens applies to the preparation and curing of cylindrical and beam-shaped specimens from representative samples to represent remodeled concrete for use in structural projects or structural construction projects. The concrete used should be sampled after all field adjustments have been made, including mix proportions, including water additions and other additives. This specification does not apply to specimens that do not have a measurable slump or require special sizes or shapes.
