FOREWARD: The American Petroleum Institute was established in 1919 as the first national trade association in the United States to encompass all branches of the petroleum industry. Within this framework@ oil men and women today continue to work toward the advancement of the industry in the interest of the general public. It is hoped that the publications listed in this catalog will assist petroleum industry personnel to increase their knowledge and improve their skills@ and that they will serve others as an introduction and guide to the varied activities within the industry. The catalog is published annually. Only publications which are currently available are listed herein.
