Scope

This document describes the process of making long-term orbital lifetime predictions for spacecraft, launch vehicles, upper stages, and associated debris transiting low Earth orbit after the mission phase (including any mission lifetime extension). It also describes: a) modelling methods and resources for modelling solar and geomagnetic activity; b) resources for atmospheric model selection; c) methods for estimating spacecraft ballistic coefficients.
