This standard specifies the water quality indicators, water quality classification, standard limits, water quality inspection and supervision and implementation of standards for drinking water sources. This standard applies to the water quality of centralized drinking water sources in urban and rural areas (including water sources provided by each unit for domestic drinking water). The water quality of decentralized drinking water sources should also be used with reference.
