This document describes a method for the determination of gallium content in iron ores by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. The sample is decomposed with nitric acid, hydrofluoric acid, and sulfuric acid, and the insoluble residue is melted and decomposed with sodium peroxide, leached with water, filtered, the precipitate is acidified with nitric acid, the dissolved liquid is combined, and measured with an inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer (ICP-MS). . Measuring range: 10g/g~500g/g.
