This standard applies to the Korean pine fast-growing and high-yielding forests established by the state, collectives, individuals and joint ventures (cooperatives) in the cultivation areas that accept the national plan, including 74 cities and counties in Liaoning, Jilin and Heilongjiang. Three cultivation areas are divided according to ecological factors, and kernel yield indicators and technical requirements are formulated according to the area. The basic information of each cultivation area is shown in Appendix A.
