Scope

To implement new information to reflect evolving technology and industry practices, and to clarify, reorganize, and improve the presentation of the application Guide. The scope of the revised standard will be the same as the current standard, including arresters applied to a transformer secondary below 1000 V ac for the purpose of protecting the transformer.
