AASHTO Standard Practice for Certification of High-Speed Macrotexture Measurement Equipment

This practice describes certification procedures for equipment used to measure macrotexture of pavements at high speeds. The minimum requirements specified in this standard are intended to verify that the equipment can collect repeatable and accurate macrotexture data at the project and network levels. This practice does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this practice to establish appropriate safety and health practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to its use.
