Scope

This standard applies to flat fiber cement pressed (including autoclaved) boards filled with cellulose fibers, unpainted or painted on the front surface (hereinafter referred to as fiber cement boards), used for constructing a protective and decorative screen for ventilated curtain wall façade systems during new construction, reconstruction and major repairs of buildings and structures. It is not allowed to use the specified fiber cement boards for fireproof cladding of building structures. This standard establishes requirements for their manufacture.
