1.1 Purpose This specification covers the requirements for electrodepositing a rhodium layer after an electrodeposited silver layer. 1.2 Applications Such electrodepositions are typically used to provide conductive surfaces for electrical contacts or reflective coatings for waveguide surfaces for parts operating at temperatures up to 300°F (149°C), but uses are not limited to such applications. 1.3 Safety—Hazardous Materials Although the materials, methods, applications, and processes described or referenced in this specification may involve the use of hazardous materials, this specification does not deal with the hazards that may be present in such use. It is the sole responsibility of the user to ensure familiarity with the safe and proper use of any hazardous material and to take the necessary precautions to ensure the health and safety of all persons involved.
