AIM AECTP 500 is one of six documents covered under STANAG 4370 Environmental Testing [Ref 1]. The documents in AECTP 500 contain Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) test requirements and procedures necessary to ensure military Platforms@ Systems@ Subsystems@ and Equipment have been designed for Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and evaluated to verify@ by test@ analysis@ or modeling and simulation as appropriate@ that the desired performance requirements will be met when subjected to the Electromagnetic Environment (EME). In doing so@ AECTP 500 establishes E3 interface requirements and verification criteria for airborne@ sea@ space@ and land systems@ including associated ordnance.
