This document stipulates the relevant specifications for the use of bio-nest methods based on modified basalt fiber (Modified basalt fiber, MBF) fillers in biological treatment of sewage/wastewater, using modified basalt fiber specifications, layout methods, bio-nest culture, technical requirements, management and Control, etc., including modified basalt fiber filler, biological nest culture, biological nest method, management and maintenance, etc. This document applies to sewage/wastewater treatment projects using the biological nest process and its combined processes. It can be used as the technical basis for process design, construction, environmental protection acceptance and facility operation and maintenance.
