This standard determines the construction of a code to identify articles in serial publications and in books that contain separate works by different authors. The biblid consists of a code identifier and the code itself. There are two types of biblid:
——The biblid for serial publications, for articles in serial publications to which an ISSN number has been assigned. - The biblid for books, for the works of different authors, contained in publications that have an ISBN number.
