This standard describes a chromatographic method to determine the water content in paints, varnishes and related products whose volatile vehicle consists mainly of water. This method can be used, among other applications, to obtain the value of the water content, which is in turn necessary to calculate the volatile organic compound content of paints, varnishes and related products.
