Scope

This Standard is the formal adopting document of IEC 61558-2-23 Ed 2 which has been adopted without national variation. The IEC text, which is not included, deals with the safety of transformers for construction sites and power supply units incorporating transformers for construction sites. Transformers incorporating electronic circuits are also covered by this standard. Includes electrical, thermal and mechanical aspects.
