Joint Association Survey on Drilling Cost an annual survey@ is the only source of data for the long-term source of information on detailed U.S. drilling expenditures on wells@ footage and related expenditures for each active drilling area. Data for oil@ gas wells and dry holes are reported separately and the information is further disaggregated by depth interval for each state and area. Also includes expenditure information on offshore@ onshore@ exploratory@ development@ horizontal and coal-bed methane gas wells.
