Products supplied in accordance with this standard must be classified as follows: Type EP-1: Rigid coating after hardening, used when high scratch and cut resistance is required. Type EP-2: General purpose coating with moderately rigid or semi-flexible properties. Type EP-3: Flexible coating after hardening, used when good impact stability and excellent adhesion to the underlying metal are required. Consequently, these three types of products will be designated as follows:
