This standard applies to all types of sound and television broadcasting transmitters. The standard may, however, not be appropriate for low-power equipment and certain emitters of a particular nature. Any device and interconnection not directly associated with the emitters, such as intrusion alarms, beacons, etc. are excluded from this standard.
