Introduction This book originally started as a special class for new engineers within one of Emerson Process Management's engineering divisions@ but has since grown in both scope and depth of material that is addressed. There are many aspects of process control systems@ and the book is structured to allow engineers@ managers@ technicians@ and others that are new to process control to get up to speed more quickly on process control and related areas. Experienced control engineers will benefit from the application examples and workshops on process control design and implementation of multi-loop control strategies.
