- This document describes the principle, reagents, instruments and devices, analysis steps, result calculation and expression, quantitative limit and precision, and test report for the determination of the content of arsenic (As), cadmium (Cd), cobalt (Co), chromium (Cr), copper (Cu), mercury (Hg), nickel (Ni), lead (Pb), antimony (Sb) and zinc (Zn) in masks using inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometer (ICP-OES). This document is applicable to the determination of the total amount of each heavy metal element of arsenic, cadmium, cobalt, chromium, copper, mercury, nickel, lead, antimony and zinc in mask products. Plastic, metal and other auxiliary materials in masks are excluded.
