6 Product Requirements
6.1 Sensory Criteria
The fruit is triangular, oval or flat-oval in shape with a pointed end, ranging from reddish-brown to light brown; the surface is smooth. The flesh is yellow-white or pale yellow with a fragrance and fine, tender texture. For large-fruited varieties, the average weight of single fruits should be ≥16 grams, while for medium-sized ones, it should be ≥11 grams.
6.2 Physicochemical Criteria
The physicochemical indicators of Fengcheng chestnuts under geographical indication proof trademarks should meet the requirements listed in Table 1, and they should contain trace amounts of vitamins and minerals.

7 Testing Methods
7.1 Sensory Criteria
Testing is conducted using visual inspection and taste evaluation. The weight of individual fruits is measured with an electronic scale with a resolution of 0.1g, and the average weight of ten randomly selected fruits is used.
7.2 Physicochemical Criteria
Tests are conducted according to the methods specified in GB 5009.3, GB 5009.5, GB 5009.6, and GB 5009.9.
8 Marking, Transportation, and Storage
8.1 Labeling
The packaging should use a dedicated geographical indication proof trademark protection label.
8.2 Transportation
Products after acceptance should be quickly organized for shipment; long-distance transportation is advisable to store them under refrigeration.
8.3 Storage
The storage area should be clean, hygienic, and well-ventilated, and it must not mix stored items with toxic, harmful, odorous, or contaminated goods. Refrigerated storage is recommended.
