This part of ISO 7574 provides guidance for determining the labeled value, Lc, by the supplier, and specifies statistical sampling methods to verify the conformity of the noise emissions of a batch of machines and equipment with its labeled value. . This part of ISO 7574 attempts to assist parties responsible for the preparation of specific labeling codes for given families of machines. It is also intended to be used by suppliers who want their batches of machines to comply with verification procedures, as specified in specific labeling codes based on Chapter 7. This part of ISO 7574 does not cover the consequences in the event that the declared value is not confirmed as verified for a batch of machines.
