This standard specifies a method for determining the tensile creep of rigid plastic materials in the form of specimens, such as those used for determining tensile properties, molded directly or cut from sheets. The results obtained by this method can be used, among others, to:
——compare materials;
——the design of parts;
——characterize plastics subjected to constant force over long periods of use;
——specifications, under certain conditions.
