GA 2118-2023, as an important part of the police equipment standardization system, establishes special technical specifications for police uniform belts for the first time. This standard inherits the writing rules of GB/T 1.1-2020 and makes special refinements based on the general requirements for police uniforms in GA/T 70-2018.

Quality Assurance System

The standard innovatively introduces the requirements of the neutral salt spray test (NSS), and conducts a 96-hour corrosion test on metal parts in accordance with GB/T 3826. A typical case shows that after the NSS test, the surface corrosion area of the strap fastener made of zinc alloy die-casting (GB/T 13818) must be less than 0.1%.
