In order to clarify the acceptance conditions for the accreditation of institutions raising and using experimental animals and promote the smooth implementation of the accreditation system for institutions raising and using experimental animals, CNAS has specially formulated this document to provide supplementary explanations on the relevant requirements of CNAS-RL08 "Accreditation Rules for Institutions Raising and Using Experimental Animals". This article is applicable to institutions that raise and use experimental animals applying for initial accreditation and expanded accreditation scope.
