This Standard establishes test methods to verify that the markings or color-coding will not become illegible on the component parts (including printed-wiring boards and excluding electron tubes) when subjected to solvents normally used to clean solder-flux@ fingerprints@ and other contaminants from printed-wiring and terminal-bokd assemblies@ electronic assemblies and equipment.
