GB 37219-2023 Standard Overview
GB 37219-2023, the national standard of the People's Republic of China, "Safety Specification for Inflatable Amusement Facilities", was issued in 2023, replacing the previous GB/T 37219-2018 standard. This standard is mainly applicable to land-based inflatable amusement facilities for children aged 3 to 14 years old, and clarifies the safety requirements for the entire process from design, production to installation, use and maintenance.

Technical parameters of inflatable slides
According to Section 5.6 of the standard, the safety design of inflatable slides must meet the following requirements:
- The maximum angle between the sliding section and the horizontal plane is ≤60°.
- The inclination of the buffer zone is ≤10°, and the length is ≥50% of the height of the slide platform.
- A safety pressure relief valve must be installed at the bottom of the slide to ensure the safe landing of the players.
Material performance test
Flexible fabric is the core material of inflatable amusement facilities, and its tensile strength and tear strength must meet the following requirements:
- Tensile strength ≥1850 N.
- Tear strength ≥350 N.
- Air tightness test ensures that the facility maintains its shape under rated pressure.

- Amusement facility manufacturers must strictly follow the material and structural requirements for design and production.
- Users should regularly check the integrity of fixed points, electrical devices and safety signs.
