Introduction

Analysis of the core framework of the standard

This standard constructs a four-level classification system: 13 first-level characteristics → 80 second-level characteristics → 55 third-level characteristics → 402 characteristic elements. The characteristic element is the smallest description unit, including the standardized parameter definitions of nine types of military targets such as satellites and missiles and five types of environments such as space/atmosphere.

Taking the aircraft target as an example, its characteristic meta description includes:

  • Name: Infrared radiation brightness
  • Unit symbol: W·sr-1·m-2
  • Data type: N(10,2)
  • Value range: 0-10000

Standard implementation recommendations

  1. During the equipment demonstration phase, the characteristic description table of the corresponding target in Appendix AJ should be cited first
  2. Data processing must comply with the standard file format specified in GJB5252
  3. Characteristic meta updates should maintain compatibility with the terminology definition in GJB4238
