Scope

This specification covers corrosion-resistant and moderately heat-resistant steels in plate, strip, and sheet form. These products are generally used for parts requiring corrosion and oxidation resistance up to 800°F (427°C), such as snap rings and flat springs, but use is not limited to such applications.
