Scope

This standard specifies the general method for the determination of water-insoluble substances by gravimetric method. This standard is applicable to the determination of water-insoluble substances in water-soluble solid chemical reagents. When using this standard to measure water-insoluble substances, the amount of insoluble substances obtained is calculated according to the sampling volume and specification value. Not less than 1mg. This standard does not apply to the determination of water-insoluble substances in chemical reagents that are unstable in boiling water or corrode glass filter pots
