1. Background and significance of standard formulation
With the country's emphasis on water conservation and recycling, the papermaking industry, as a major water user, is particularly important for water-saving enterprises. GB/T 26927-2023 "Water-saving Enterprise Papermaking Industry" is a comprehensive revision of the 2011 version, aiming to adapt to the new requirements of industry technological progress and environmental protection.

3.1 Enterprise water-saving technology transformation

- High-efficiency filtration equipment: Improve wastewater treatment efficiency
3.2 Management system optimization
It is recommended that enterprises establish a sound water-saving management system, including:
- Regularly conduct water balance tests (as shown in Figure 1)
- Implement standardized management of water metering instruments
- Strengthen employee water conservation awareness training
3.3 Capital investment and incentive mechanism
Enterprises should include water conservation funds in the annual budget and establish an internal management system of water conservation rewards and excess penalties to ensure the effective implementation of water conservation measures.
