- This part of SY/T 6009 specifies the method for determining the altered carbonate (△C) of oil and gas geochemical exploration samples. This method is divided into two types: gas chromatography and gas infrared. This method is suitable for the determination of altered carbonate in soil media and rock cuttings (core) samples. The detection limit of this method is w (△C) ≤ 0.005%, and the determination content range is w (△C) = 0.01% ~ 20.00%. Increasing the sample amount or adopting enrichment methods can expand the content range of the determination. The carrier gas is purified to eliminate carbon dioxide interference.
