- This part of SY/T 6009 specifies the method for the determination of light hydrocarbons (C1~C7) in the headspace of oil and gas geochemical exploration samples. This method is suitable for the determination of headspace light hydrocarbons in soil media and rock cuttings (core) samples, and is also suitable for the determination of headspace light hydrocarbons in water samples. The detection limit of this method is φ(i)≤0.02×10-6. The measurement range is φ(i)≥0.1×10-6. Hydrocarbon substances interfere with the determination, and the interference can be eliminated after purification of the reagents used.
