- This part of SY/T 6009 specifies the method for determination of dissolved hydrocarbons in oil and gas geochemical exploration samples. This method is suitable for the determination of dissolved hydrocarbons in groundwater, ocean bottom water and oil field water samples. The detection limit of this method is φ(i)≤0.05×10-6, and the measurement range is φ(i)≥0.5×10-6. Hydrocarbon substances interfere with the determination. The reagents used were purified and the prepared solution was boiled to eliminate interference.
