Scope

This standard is used together with product drawings and ordering technical conditions. If there are no special requirements in product drawings and technical documents, they shall comply with the provisions of this standard. If there are special requirements, the provisions of product drawings and technical documents shall be followed. Castings must be repaired to meet the acceptance standards and must be repaired with the approval of the ship inspection department. Castings that cannot meet the technical requirements after repair, or may meet the requirements but are not economically cost-effective, should be discarded as scrap.
