Stimulating and maintaining a keen interest in aviation science among primary and secondary school students, cultivating and continuously reinforcing their spirit of scientific inquiry, is the starting point and ultimate goal that aviation science education must始终坚持. In previous aviation science education for primary and secondary school students, there has been to some extent an emphasis on commencement over continuity: competitions over inclusiveness; strengthening a few elites rather than improving the majority generally. The main reason for this is the lack of effective continuous motivational methods.
To sustain student enthusiasm in participating in aviation science education, enhance the effectiveness and quality of science education, promote sustainable industry development, based on relevant national laws and regulations, learning from successful experiences in other specialized science educations, we formulate these standards.
These standards serve as the fundamental basis for evaluating the level of primary and secondary school students' aviation science education organized by Taiyuan Model Aviation Movement Association. They are also the basic guidelines that all primary and secondary schools, enterprises, and institutions voluntarily participating in this education must follow to evaluate their educational levels.
This standard describes relevant terminologies and definitions related to the evaluation of the level of primary and secondary school students' aviation science education, regulates categories of assessment and implementation methods. It is applicable for evaluating the level of primary and secondary school students' aviation science education.
