- This standard specifies the limit deviations of the untoleranced dimensions of molded automotive plastic parts. This standard applies to the dimensions without tolerances of plastic parts formed by molding, injection, and casting of thermosetting and thermoplastic plastics. This standard does not apply to un-toleranced dimensions of plastic parts manufactured by extrusion, blow molding, cold drawing, sintering and foaming processes.
