Scope
This document stipulates the requirements for the test area, test procedures, data measurement, data processing and correction, safety assessment and emergency measures for the actual icebreaking test of polar ships. This document is applicable to the actual icebreaking test of Category A or B polar ships stipulated in the IMO "International Code for Ships Navigating in Polar Waters". Category C ships can also refer to this document.
